This course introduces the core principles, tools, and workflows of multimedia; covering text, images, audio, video, animation, and interactivity. Students will learn foundational concepts such as color theory, typography, media formats, compression, asset pipelines, and multimedia authoring. The course emphasizes practical skills in media creation/editing, integration for the web and applications, publishing standards, accessibility, and copyright/ethics. By the end, students will have produced a multimedia project that demonstrates design thinking, technical proficiency, and effective storytelling.
