Welcome to CIIS 284 - Basic Economics (DL). This course has been designed to provide distance learning students with a solid understanding of economic principles and their relevance to today's technology-driven world. Economics plays a critical role in understanding how societies allocate scarce resources, how markets function, how businesses make decisions, and how governments influence economic outcomes.
As an online learner, you are expected to take an active role in your learning journey by engaging with course materials, participating in online discussions, completing assignments, and undertaking independent study.
